From a photo to a pattern
Crosy helps you turn a photo into a counted cross-stitch chart. Adjust the size and palette, inspect the result, then edit individual stitches and backstitch lines. You can mark your progress as you stitch.
Start with a photo, or create a blank chart for a design of your own.
Read the chart with its thread key
Chart marks and the matching thread key stay together throughout editing and export. Match each mark to the key for its DMC code and color name; symbols do not represent the same thread across every pattern.
Screen colors are approximate. Compare them with physical thread before stitching, and review small details such as eyes and outlines at the intended chart size.
Keep a version you can return to
Choose a PDF for printing, an image for sharing, or a native Crosy backup to preserve the source, editable chart and stitching progress. OXS and FCJSON provide exchange options for compatible pattern apps; the export guide explains what each format keeps.
Patterns save on the current device. With an account, you can also choose patterns for cloud sync within your plan's allowance.
What our chart checks cover
Crosy's software checks cover chart marks, thread-key matching, exports and saved projects. These checks help keep the chart consistent across the workbench and its files. They do not replace reviewing the pattern or testing it in physical stitches.
Crosy supports full cross stitches and backstitch lines. If you need a different stitch type, check the result and format before using it in another app.
