Read line keys separately

Backstitch uses a line sample and a separate reference. In Crosy, B1.2 means the first palette thread with 2 strands; B1.1 is its 1-strand variant. Use the DMC code beside the line in the exported key.

These 72 shapes identify full-cross thread colors. An outline or partly filled shape does not instruct a fractional stitch. Crosy currently supports full crosses and Backstitch, not fractional crosses, knots or blended threads.

Sources and reuse

The chart-to-key reading convention follows DMC's chart-reading guidance. Crosy's catalog is a product convention, not a certified or mandatory industry alphabet.

Geometry is adapted from Noto Sans Symbols 2, under SIL Open Font License 1.1. The pinned source and normalized vector paths are shared by screen, PDF and SVG; printing does not depend on a system symbol font.

Reference maintained by the Crosy product team. Technical geometry and file checks do not replace a physical stitch or print review. Screen thread colors are approximate.
