Terms of Service

Terms for Crosy accounts, pattern exports, credits, subscriptions, cloud sync and refunds.

Last updated: 2026-10-11

Using Crosy

These Terms govern your use of Crosy at crosy.app. By using Crosy or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you use Crosy for an organization, you must have permission to act for it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Crosy turns photos into cross-stitch patterns and provides editing, stitching progress, cloud sync and digital exports. It does not sell physical thread, fabric or finished stitching. Screen colors and calculated sizes are guides; check the chart, thread colors and fabric measurements before starting a project. Thread-brand names identify compatible color references and do not imply sponsorship.

Your account and content

Keep your account information accurate and your sign-in credentials secure. Contact support@crosy.app if you suspect unauthorized access. If you cannot legally enter a contract yourself, use paid services only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

You retain your rights to photos and other content you provide. You must own that content or have permission to upload, convert and use it. A pattern export does not give you rights to someone else's photograph or artwork. You permit Crosy and its service providers to process and store your content as needed to provide the features you use, secure the service and answer your support requests. We do not publish your private projects for promotion without your permission.

Do not upload unlawful content, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, or manipulate credits, payments or usage limits. Crosy's software, brand and original site content remain the property of Crosy or its licensors.

Credits and digital delivery

You can preview and edit patterns without buying an export. Unlocking one pattern's complete export package costs 30 credits. You can then edit and re-export that same pattern without another unlock charge. Credits are not money and cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred between accounts.

Purchased credit packs do not expire. Pro includes 990 credits each month; each monthly allocation is valid for one month and does not roll over. Annual Pro is billed yearly, with credits delivered monthly. Any welcome credit offer is granted once per eligible account. Current offers and limits appear on the Pricing page.

Purchases are delivered digitally to the Crosy account used at checkout after payment is confirmed. There is no physical shipment. If a confirmed purchase does not appear, contact support with your order reference before buying again. Keep access to that account to use your credits and unlocked patterns.

Payments and taxes

Payments are handled by Creem as merchant of record. The applicable purchase and payment terms are shown at checkout. Displayed Crosy prices exclude tax; applicable taxes and the final total are shown before you confirm payment.

Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the selected monthly or annual interval until cancelled. We will communicate material subscription price changes before they apply to a future renewal.

Cancellation and refunds

You can view or cancel your subscription from Billing. Cancellation stops the next renewal. Pro access continues until the end of the paid billing period; cancelling does not itself refund an earlier payment. Previously unlocked patterns remain unlocked after Pro ends, while Pro tools and cloud limits follow your current plan.

Except where required by applicable law or where we expressly agree otherwise, payments for digital credits and subscriptions are non-refundable. If you have a duplicate charge, a delivery problem or another billing issue, email support@crosy.app with your order reference. We review requests individually. Please contact us promptly, preferably within 15 days of the charge, so we can investigate; this is not a deadline that removes your statutory rights. Mandatory consumer rights, including any applicable right to a refund, remain unaffected.

Device saving and cloud sync

Work saved only on your device depends on that browser's storage. Clearing browser data, using a different browser or losing the device can make that work unavailable. Download a Crosy backup for work you need to keep independently.

Cloud sync requires an account and is subject to your plan's pattern and storage limits. Free users choose which patterns to sync; once enabled, later changes sync automatically. New Pro patterns sync by default unless you turn sync off for that pattern. Offline changes wait until a connection is available. A cloud copy alone does not mean the latest changes have synced; check the pattern's sync status.

Turning sync off removes the pattern from your active cloud library and stops further syncing. Keep a device copy or downloaded backup before doing so. Cloud sync is not a version-history or recovery service. Plan changes or usage limits can restrict new cloud saves; the product shows the relevant status and available actions.

Availability and account closure

We work to keep Crosy available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or that every generated chart is error-free. We may change features and will give reasonable notice of material changes where practical. We may restrict access to protect users or respond to a breach of these Terms. To request account closure, email support@crosy.app.

To the extent permitted by law, Crosy is not responsible for indirect losses arising from service interruptions or the use of a pattern. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms. The date above identifies the current version; material changes will also be communicated through the service or by email where appropriate. For account, legal or billing questions, contact support@crosy.app. We aim to reply within 3 business days.
